The way matt moore was "floating" those passes into triple coverage...i rather see clausen start. Give the man some exprience. Matt Moore reminded me alot about Jake in his last years on the team. Always looking for steve smith *staring him down*, crappy high passes, and floaters. I mean that one where he threw it into the endzone with 5 guys around the WR....come on!!!

100% Clausen starts Sunday. Who are they gonna get to start before him? Moore can't play because of concussion rules. If they pick up a vet he's not playing this week imo. They're gonna go with the kid and grill the o-line to protect him like their job's on the line.

Also unless I am mistaken, Moore can play this Sunday but he'll have to clear a bevy of tests. Considering the reports of his instability on the sideline, that would be a reach.

I don't necessarily agree anymore. As rookie QB's have proven lately, they can lead the team to have a successful season right out of the gate. It started with Big Ben bringing his Steelers to the AFC conference championship game.. followed by Flacco and Ryan to bring their respective teams to the playoffs.. and Dirty Sanchez last season.. while he had a horrible statistical season by throwing 12 TDs and 20 INTs and only completing 53.8% of his passes. I believe Clausen could fit in that category.. but playing time is what makes these young QB's get better.. so we need to get Jimmy in the game.
