Ryan Grant out for the season, perfect time to trade Sutton for a WR...

Don't you remember the article stating that another NFC team had called our FO to inquire about trading for Sutton or Goodson. The FO abruptly told them that we were not interested.

We will NOT trade one of our 4 RB's.

doesnt matter. it would still make sense if they had a real desire to win his year.

We will do nothing! nothing I say! We're letting Fox coach to the end of his contract with the roster he assembled. We simply do not want any quick help...Fox wants to show people that he can draft talent and coach young kids to get a new job next year...and all of this lies under the Jerry philosophy of not spending money on anyone that could benefit our squad at any capacity. ;)

starting tobelieve that.

this year is to do two things:

1) show what fox can do with a young/rebuilding team

2) give the next panthers coach a young and cheap team to build with and giving him tons of money to work with.

You think the Panthers won't try to resign him or that he won't want to re-sign with the Panthers?

I'd be surprised at this rate if they even resign beason and kalil.

"well, after trading out of the first round again, we think we got some really good players that will come in and contribute right away."

btw we're raising prices and we cut steve smith.

If they plan on letting DeAngelo walk next year, wouldn't it make sense to get SOMETHING for him in return? Seriously, if they let him go next year and we've had teams sniffing around us for RB's this year, I am going to help Dpantherman burn the flippin' stadium down.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
