Thoughts of letting go of John Fox? R you kdding me?

John Fox, arguably the best coach in the NFC... Superbowl appearance, NFC South Championship, 2 to be exact, two NFC Conference championship games and an NFC Championship. Not to mention a guaranteed playoff run every time his team is healthy and there are thoughts are getting rid of John Fox. Yeah, be stupid if you want..... But its your team. I mean, your 12-5, winning season and something to build on, unlike a lot of teams who wish they could build on that instead of just trying to get even a few wins alone.

But.... if you insist. You know what, I can guarantee that if you keep Jake Delhomme, John Fox and Julius Peppers that this team will get to a minimum of at least the NFC Championship next year. Bottom line, John Fox is a very good coach with a very good staff that has a chance to redeem themselves and win it all next year. And I seem to be the only one that thinks they will.

Remember, I'm a person who nearly had my heart jumping in my throat because of John Fox's game plan and Jake Delhomme's abilities back in Houston in 2004 at the SB. I was there, I know first hand what this Panther team can do. Ask Tom Brady, ask Harrison, Seymour, Givens and those other guys.

No one is saying fire Fox.

And honestly, if you are not a Panthers fan, then you dont really KNOW john fox.

HEll if we had some John Fox trivia the only answer we fans would know is that his favorite phrase is "it is what it is"

The thread you seen is just a "what do you as a fan think of Fox" thread?

My favorite is "we just picked a bad day to have a bad day." That sentence is the ultimate most obvious quote ever. Who watching the game didn't realize that.

Its not 2003 anymore? so what, my team last went to the SB in 04 and won it... But made it back in Feb 08 with the same CORE guys so what are you saying? and as far as the comment right above me. fug you because I respect for this team. Maybe I see something in this team that stands out to me. Nucleus of a dynasty if not for a few things go wrong here and there over the last few years. I don't come on here and disrespect Carolina or anything, hell I even like Carolina so go jerk off you lil fagot with that comment. How dare you? I like Carolina like I said, so I have that right to share just my thoughts and opinions

I can handle keeping Fox.

It seems Turgo is going to be this years Foster or Morgan.

Logic will finally trump loyalty. And that ain't easy on any level. We can rant and rave and all that but you are still dealing with people.

The emotions are the same. Now the pay...all other ball game.

maybe we should have a winning record 2 years in a row before we start calling them a dynasty.

    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
    • Ppl want to trade Melo? Am I wrong for thinking that would be a bad idea?
    • Some of you act like one can't learn from experience over time. Just because you may not know what you're doing in 2018 doesn't mean that you don't know what you're doing in 2025. Frankly, you grow from experience, and success and excellence gives first-time applicants the hand probably 99.999% of the time.
