Jimmy looks like a guy who throws to the open man or spots based on reading the defense. In that regard I don't think we have to worry about who we're passing to except to expect that they catch the ball when the ball is thrown to them. We should trust Clausen enough to show the passing game as a threat because the Bengal defense is going to do what's been killing us. They're going to give Clausen ever opportunity to beat them.

We get some balance on offense we'll see we still have a very good O-line.

Defense is a problem. The didn't look extremely horrible but when they did make mistakes, they were glaring. The lack of pressure from the front 4 hurts and our secondary is struggling especially with our safety getting over the top in coverage. We have to finish play and tackle better. When we get the chance to tackle we can't wiff.

I don't know if we'll win Sunday but I think we'll look a ton better and at least be in the game.

RUN THE BALL WELL.

In 2008, Michael Turner had 1,699 yards and 17 TDs to take the pressue off rookie Matt Ryan.

In 2008 McGahee and Rice combined for 1125 yds and 7 TDs rushing. Rice had 273 receiving and a TD to take the pressure off Flacco.

DOUBLE TROUBLE, Fiametta, and the O-LINE...I'm looking right at ya.

Agreed, but both the Ravens and Falcons of 2008 had better recievers than we currently do. I think we're going to have to pass to set up the run for a bit. Teams know all they need to do is stack nine in the box to stop our running game.

At least Jimmy has that going for him, and maybe he can take advantage of it.

I thought the biggest mistakes was not tackling Josh Freeman. That was just embarassing.

I want to know about our receivers though. We still are not sure who is going to start, are we? Rosario looked good, but DJ did not get a single pass thrown to him. In addition does anyone know the situation with LaFell?

And if he comes back to we give LaFell another shot? Or Keep DJ and Rosario? Personally I was not too impressed with LaFell. Rosario dropped one yesterday, but overall he seemed to get open quite a bit and get separation at times. I always liked Rosario and thought he had potential but he needed to step up.
