What happened to Matt Moore over the course of the Summer? Is he a Cavs fan?

Awesomeness!!

Last year this guy was looking like Jesus. The line isn't THAT bad this year, although it has looked pretty poo. The WRS aren't different. Same poo we had last year for the most part. Last year he was checking down, looking at different WRs..this year he was starting a big black hole right through Smittys 8 and 9. Was I right all along? Was the pressure of having Jimmy Clausen breathing down his neck to much for him, this ruining his confidence? If anything, a starting NFLQB needs confidence. Was the great NA right again??

Whats wrong with Moore is he's not trying to win games he's just trying not to lose his starting job which is a big differences Don't blame the WRS cause look at Cutler do it with nobody's .The line looked better he just held the ball to long , so in the end M.Moore's not who we thought he was(that's for D.Green):ciappa:

I think it's also possible that being thrust into this "veteran" role has effected his game. Last year he came in as the young gun, doing what he could to help us win. Then all of the sudden he has to take on a veteran role and try to mentor and beat out the guy that was essentially put here to replace him at the same time. You can tell there is just not a lot of faith from everyone around Moore for him to be guy, except maybe Steve Smith. He doesn't have the nurturing environment that guys like Sanchez, Big Ben, or Flacco had, or what looks like Clausen will have. They also had some what of a safety net to fail where Moore does not.

I think having a veteran around perhaps could have helped. If Moore wants to be good again then he has to get back basics(as cliche as that sounds) and just forget about the outside stuff. He's not doing the things that made him good and serviceable last year.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
