You ever take an IQ test?

Senior year of HS in some dumb class we had to take an IQ test. It was overseas so who knows. I scored so well that the teacher and headmaster called me in and told my parents and stuff. i scored like 170 or something. My parents just kind of laughed.

I'm not that smart and pretty lazy but have a knack for testing. Maybe i'll take another one and see if I can get into mensa.

You messed up the decimal point placement, which is understandable because your I.Q. is 17.0.

I was told by the Marines and a few of my Professors in college, that I had an 'impressive IQ'. (Also, my Mom, who was a teacher.)

Out of college I was invited to join MENSA. I asked the person what they ever did for mankind. He said that MENSA members were part of the most prestigious 'Think Tanks' in the world. I imagnines a bunch of geeks sitting around playing cards and trying to dream up a way to make a woman robot!

I told them, "thanks, but no thanks." I had a good job, I didn't think that being a member of MENSA was going to be all that impressive on my resume.

You sure they weren't just trying to avoid a lawsuit because of the Americans with Disabilities Act?

did I take that one too far?

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
