John Fox is the dumbest dumb coach to ever be dumb at offense. We have two talented RBs teams would kill for, and instead we see more of Goodson dropping passes and fumbling. Yeah, he's a good change of pace back, but we use him more than the stars!

God, I hope we go after an offensive minded coach who can make a play book instead of having 3 total plays in ours which are all very obvious formations and the crappiest passing formations I've ever seen.

I hear you, but Goodson hadn't dropped any passes or fumbled any balls this game.

Yes, he dropped a pass when I typed it for a first down.

But anyway, yes he fumbled before half. They credited it to Clausen though since Goodson fumbled it so quick after the handoff. You know, the fumble which should have got the Bengals some points but they are almost as bad as us.

I like Goodson, but if we aren't going to use D Will or J Stew trade one.

The right side of our OL is horrible. We can't run to the right because there is 0 push. We can't run to the left because the right side can't seal off the backside.

Schwartz is horrible, I would call him a swinging gate but I don't even know if there is a gate there. Its more like a gaping hole and a set of hinges were a gate should be.

I don't know if Bernadeu is as bad as he looks right now or not. Schwartz is so bad that Bernadeu is having a hard time also. Right now though they both looky shoddy. We need to get Otah back asap.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
