How many would have benched - maybe even given up on - Freeman after that performance against the Panthers last year?

This is what happens to rookies. I hate that he was thrown in this early, but now that he's in, don't screw things up even worse by pulling him out.

I agree. He was playing against the best corners and a good overall defense. I think he had a good game for his first game. Despite our Oline once again fuging things up.

Agreed. Give him the rest of the season. Make him the unquestioned starter. Let him get some confidence up.

I agree, if you put clausen in, keep him in. The coaches will only hurt his progression and confidence by pulling him out at this point. Its time to put all your eggs in clausens basket and see what we have.

cant disagree with sticking with Clausen- Ive come to accept that we have a young team and this year is probably going to have more losses than wins. we might as well get all our young guys all the experience we can.

Since Clausen has been given the starting job, I'd stick with him too at this point. It hurts to say it but this is a rebuilding team.
