Is he truly innocent though? He was under investigation and a dirty cop. Even if he didn't kill anyone, he was deserving.

He didn't fit the code, but it was self defense, and Dexter is in protect mode now with his new girl.

She probably dies, but who knows. I think Deb finds out, but doesn't care, he only offs bad guys. Even if she finds out, he could just say he was helping Lumen out and not mention anything about the dozens of other kills he's done.

I think Stiles has done a decent job this season honestly.

No, he didn't fit "the code," but he was definitely a dirty cop, and like MaxZax said, Dexter was also protecting Lumen this time around. I don't think Deb finds out, but Quinn definitely will know now. But he may not tell, because he won't want Deb to know he was still involved in the investigation of Dexter. And I'm not sure Lumen is going to make it past the season finale.

They have done a nice job building up the fact that Deb almost admires her Vigilantly theory. It is like they want you to believe that she is cool with the vigilantly killing off the bad guys, but IMO in the end, she will not be.
