I agree, that isn't going to change. But these young players could still grow better w/ some legit (or former legit) players aiding them.

I'd love to have Moose back as much as the next guy, and I think it was a mistake letting him and Hoov leave.

But he already said he's sat around all summer doing nothing but hanging out with Debbie, so I don't know how effective he'd be.

I'd be willing to give him a couple weeks to get in to shape though.

Sure would be a huge plus in developing the rookies, not just the Receivers, but Jimmy too, and he'd keep Smitty quiet (sorry Smitty!)

Moose has made several comments this year that he is no where close to game shape. Moose isnt going to happen unfortunately.

And while Im on the subject of bursting bubbles. I dont think Gettis will be a legit #2 until he can consistently catch with his hands instead of chest trapping everything. It limits his range and makes everything thrown to him very unpredictable. Im grateful that he's held onto everything he has so far though.
