trucpfan, thats exactly what I was getting at.

I feel you on this people don't understand how YOUNG and impressionable he really was when he came here. And furthermore he really had no one to fall back on for support not making excuses just stating what I have seen first hand. Key's eyes lite up like a x-mas tree when we picked him same school same build he was screaming I'm going to instill everything I know in this kid because I know this is my last year. But hey we will never know. Its Clowney time

What if Carolina had Kept Keyshawn Johnson so that he could mentor and teach Jarret the ways of the force like he said he was going to do? Did carolina fudge that one? Could Dwayne have been that #2 receiver carolina most desperatly needed under the tutiledge of Keyshawn? Thoughts?

If a hoppy toad had wings he wouldn't bump his ass.

First off, I hate what if games.

Second of all, what if Moose wasn't a greedy player, and left, going to the bears for all the money, instead of resigning a friendlier contract with the Panthers. Moose was a better veteran. A better mentor than Keyshawn. That would have definitely been the better option...period.

(Go ahead, flame away for me throwing Moose under the bus.)

that was Mooses decision, not the head office. I believe that they thought Keyshawn would have been a negative influence on Jarrett so they dumped him. I believe Dwayne Jarrett could have been a spectacular receiver had we kept Keyshawn on board to show him the ropes instead of hanging the kid out to dry and letting Steve Smith walk all over him.
