Official Peppers bitch/whine thread. And TRADE IDEAS HERE!!!!

They are 29 mill under the cap and Ralph Wilson kept that inept Dick Jauron saying they needed more talent. 11th pick in the draft would be nice to have.

the trade would make sense, question is would peppers be willing to go there?

All Peppers trade Ideas go here. There is no need to have 31 threads about trading him to each of the other 31 teams. I'm combining all of them here. Post a new thread it will be moved here. This shis is getting out of hand.

Personally, I still have both feelings and reasons to believe he might get rid of his agent and sign long term...

However, if he goes, you can guarantee that it will be somewhere where the odds are we won't have to see him again all that much.. most likely Miami...

So your saying that he's going to fire whats probably his best friend? The reason he actually stayed in school at unc instead of flunking out. You saying that he's going to fire the man he hired as his agent even though that person isn't really an agent...

in other news about peppers, plus gross this time. Gantt is saying that we are getting to the point that letting peppers walk is becoming more and more of a possibility. That the chances of us signing Gross to a deal plus Franchising Peppers is unlikely and the most likely scenario is letting Peppers walk with us Franchising Gross. Thoughts?

Probably not our best bet. Letting him walk would be a bad move considering he would be able to go anywhere he wanted, including someone we may have to play year in and year out. But I guess we don't want to be stuck with the possibility that no one is going to give up what they will have to give in order to get him to play for them. I just hope we can get SOMETHING out of him.

The issue is not whether we want to let him walk for nothing. If we can't get a deal struck with Gross, then one will hit the free-agent market as an UFA.

Likely scenarios if we can't ink Gross in time:

1. Tag Gross and let Peppers walk. Result: Lose a player who does not want to be here...but keep our young and talented OL together.

2. Tag Peppers and trade him, but let Gross walk. Result: LEt our best OL go and set back our run game, while only getting a few picks (still do not know what someone would offer in a trade) for Peppers.

I do not like either of these, but I would take Scenario #1 any day of the week.

Wonder what the issue with the Gross signing is. Is he trying to just absolutely rape the Panthers because he knows we are in a pickle? I surely hope not.

Ok here is my trade idea.

Franchise Pep. Trade him to the Broncos(3-4, AFC) for their 1st and 3rd.

Resign Gross. Go after Suggs or Dansby in FA.

Draft

Trade down to low first round for a 2nd rounder.

1. DT

2. RG Herman Johnson

2. CB

3. DT

4. KR/WR

5. FB

6. SS

Wouldn't mind that deal!

    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
