Panthers Huddle - Gross talks about taking on Peppers and demos how to deal with some of Peppers favorite moves:

If anyone knows how to beat Peppers, it's Gross. The same could be said for Peppers beating Gross, but I wonder if Peppers understands Gross's tendancies as much as Gross understands Peppers?

You mean like 0-4 being an inspiration for a win?

i mean like people talking about peppers having a "chip on his shoulder" or how he "has something to prove" or wants to "make a statement" or whatever garbage thinking that the panthers don't have something to tell the big eared freak who abandoned them and then tries to tell the world that the team didn't want him? lol it's no secret that he wanted out and the panthers just honored his choice. they made an offer and he ignored it, more than that, he said that it was never made. what a dick. because the panthers are losing, some people with short memories are buying the crap that peppers is spewing.

the panthers have just as much or more to prove than peppers does and are just as capable of proving it as peppers is. if someone knows how to shut down peppers, it's the panthers.

it's time that people started being fans of their team instead of being pissed at them for "letting" peppers leave when it was very obvious that he didn't want to be here at all and admits to not trying very hard when he was here.

quit polishing his knob. he has enough of that going on in chicago now with the whole town buying into the lie that he is the best DE in the league or whatever. yeah, his stats are really showing it, aren't they? he's overrated and they haven't figured it out and apparently, neither have a lot of people down here.

he used to be a panther. he ran out and hooked up with the team that is standing in the way of our first win this year. screw him and that gay donkey he rode in on.

The Giants did the Panthers and their fans a HUGE favor last week. By knocking out Cutler, the Panthers won't have to deal with the specter of trailing a Mike Martz offense 21-0, allowing the defense to rush the passer on every play. Those are the types of games where Peppers always got three sacks.

Trailing Da Bears 21-0? Chicago has only scored more than 20 once this season.

There first "win" over Detroit was not a win at all but a ridiculous call on the last play after the Lions won the game. The total ass whoopin' the Giants put on them last week was very amusing.

Should be an interesting game, I expect the panther defense to outplay the Bears defense this week. This will be like a week off after facing New Orlean's offense for 2/3 of the game last Sunday. The only question is will The Pickle and his band of Rooks get enough going to chip in 14 points or so.

God I wish we would commit to the run.....right down Pepper's throat.

    • Well, the whole rationale used  for the high IQ point guard is it would allow us to spend our resources elsewhere….instead it’s all our first rounders ever since to support the bad pick.  Reality is our front office is just bad.  If you wanted Bryce Young you were going to need to do something unique and special for him.  Instead we just insert a QB with traditional tools into old NFL concepts that pair with traditional talent and our pass game is whack
    • Good to see some other folks are speaking the same language on this. It's simple common sense. But it seems like there's a disconnect due to the misplaced value the team has put on Thielen because he was the only vaguely good veteran WR willing to sign with the Panthers after we traded away DJ Moore. That time has come and gone. We have two first round WR's on the roster now.
    • Yeah I’m turning this into a Bryce can’t play QB thread. Just stating that offense was a poo show two years ago. No QB is succeeding in that, much less a rookie. I feel like it’s become a common debate strategy on here to just jump down the rabbit hole of saying he is just bad in so many ways when any certain point gets countered. If that doesn’t work we can deflect to how poorly this team has been ran. In regards to the actual point we are debating, the OL was struggling, half of the skill players aren’t on a roster, Mingo has done nothing with his new team and the staff are either not coaching or on their 3rd team in 3 years, aside from McCown (I liked McCown too). Honestly about as bad as it gets. No need to try to state how good of an offense it was billed it because that has been proven false at this point.
