Armanti Edwards

Punisher

He would actually be a pretty good QB prospect. There is nothing that can be done about it this year or maybe at any point now, but from that small sample of today and preseason, I like it. As a WR, I don't think he can get by most CB's but he still doesn't look like a bust. I saw more from him this game than I did all of Jarrett's first year.

I think he looked proper back there when he was looking to throw, I wonder what the chances r that we give him a shot at qb

Definitely not this year. It just isn't practical at this point after converting him to WR/PR/Wildcat player. He hasn't look bad as a receiver either. I liked the effort on that catch out of bounds. He should have stopped on that interception tip, but that is only hindsight speaking. He was trying to run with it and make something happen. Either way, despite the haters this kid is a good prospect.

I'd like to see us open up a game with Armanti and the wildcat in more of a QB propensity and use it until it stops working. We haven't been scoring early anyway. Won't be like we're losing much by trying it for a drive.

You could tell it put the Bears D on their heels for the couple of plays he was out there today, despite the loss on the Gettis run.

One of the best thing that Armanti would bring to the offense, is the ability to run with the ball. Iv seen countless times Clausen run out of the pocket and throw the ball away, if that was Armanti it would turn into a 5+ yard play everytime. On top of that, after watching him play at APP STATE i know for a fact hes got a better arm then Clausen and Moore, but i think Pike has the best arm on the team.

YEAH I'M BIASED, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

The Jimmy Clausen fans have something else to say.

I however, believe that Armanti is the man. He has that 'it' factor that brings up the team. It is widely believed that success is contagious and obviously everythign the team has tried hasn't worked yet. Let's hope that something does....

Tony Pike is still waiting for a shot too. Armanti brings a more wide variety of play calls than any other QB we have. Will it work?

If Fox wants to keep his job he better brings something to the table and quick!

Early, late, or the time in between. The offense defines inept.

    • Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest.   Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team.   Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more.   Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
    • Allen was borderline unplayable in College.  He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.
    • It's a step up in competition as well. The gap in athletic skill is narrowed from what was faced at the college level.
