There is only one Coach that will keep butts in the seats next year

I didnt want to start a new thread on this and since this is the only coaching thread going right now I decided to post it here......................

When the Panthers got into the red zone on their early drive down 7-0 and then ran it three times in a row to settle for a field goal I was ready to go on the field and grab Fox by the neck. That was typical Fox ball and why I cant wait for him to be gone. I am sooooo tired of his style of play. He continues to do the same garbage. Right there again, its not playing to win, but playing to just keep it close. I dont want the "its a young team crap" cause he has done the same thing with all his teams here.

Fox should have been gone before this season and is only here cause of the CBA issue. I cant wait for the Fox era to be over. I wouldnt mind this bad season as much if at least the new coaching regime was already here doing the rebuilding and working with this team.

I agree but can you blame him? Did Clausen show you anything when he was passing it?

This should be our next Offensive coordinator/QB coach.

Read about him...

He kinda has that "scary" calm look that before you know it, he break your neck like a maniac. Sign him up!!

And we don't need Cowher. He is as conservative as Fox & it took him forever to get a ring, especially one many said the refs gave Steelers the win. We can get someone else that can help win & isn't a big name like Cowher or Gruden, etc.

On that drive Clausen hadnt shown much yet,,, it was to early in the game. Plus then if he is that bad then put somebody else in. Like I said in my original post... I dont want to here the "we are young" excuse or "it because of Clausen". Getting into the Red Zone then running three times to settle for a FG is something Fox has done many times before and with a veteran team. At this point the Panthers are 0-4, have nothing to lose or going on and Fox just continues to do the same crap over and over and over again. As a fan sitting there watching this team, I would have much preferred they take at least one shot in the endzone or for another first down and risk a pick then to play for a FG. Show me your at least trying to win instead of this "lets just keep it close crap" and hope our defense holds them for the rest of the game, then get lucky and be able to pull it out in the 4th quarter crap. That is just Fox ball and why I cant wait for him to be out of here. I am not just saying that now, I was hoping for a coaching change for at least 3yrs now. People have been giving Fox excuses for too many season now. This year its they are younge, last season it was Jake, the season before was injuries..........

I agree, this coaching staff is what it always has been.

Winning will keep the fans....well duh. But that was not what I was talking about. I was talking about preventing a mass exodus.

If you think after a 0-16, 1-15, 2-14 season fans will be in the stands on opening day next year with a rookie first time coach, y'all are delusional.

When the rookie coach wins, yes the fans will come back. But Cowher brings them on Opening day, and he might convert some of the damn Steeler fans in the area.

Nothing pisses me off more than all the mother f***ing black & gold sports bars we have all over north and south kacky, Myrtle F***ing Beach is the worst. Then when the Panthers make the playoffs they are all cheering...I want to drown them in their bud light beer tubes.

That one of the thing I'm afraid of with Cowher ever becoming a coach here. Do you folks want Steelers fans at BoA stadium almost everytime we play there??

The problem is the player's execution. If you can't execute simple plays, how can you justify calling complicated ones. The heart of this team is being tested right now. The off. line is not getting the job done. No QB can be successful while these guys play so poorly. I hope Otah comes back soon. This is my team and I will never give up on them. I doubt right now we will be playing next year anyway. Pay the players and let them practice, practice, practice. The Organization is the most important thing. Remember this is our team and I don't want to lose it like we lost the Hornets.

That's a possibility if you go for Winston Moss as the next head coach.

My take: Cowher's not happening, for a lot of reasons.

I am concern about Moss' experience as being the "head guy", but I think it would come down to how well he would interview. But, my goodness, maybe we can find some combo HC that could bring in Clements at OC.
