My friend has a schizophrenic neighbor

Going along with the fun neighbor threads we've got going on, here's one to add. My friend, let's call him Dan, lives close to campus in a corner house on a very public and well traveled street, in a house with 4 other guys of about 21-22.

Over the summer, they started encountering a guy, lets call him Larry. Larry lives accross the street, and has schizophenia. He has a wife that no one has ever seen. We know Larry is prescribed medication for his condition, but he often forgoes taking it. At first, Larry would just meander around in his yard, pretending to do yardwork, and spying on Dan's house. It grew to where he would sit out in his yard in a chair, shirtless, just staring at the house for hours. Then, he started walking around on the sidewalk in front of the house, and began confronting the occupants of the house while they were outside.

One time, Dan had his car parked in front of Larry's house (since this is a small street and there aren't really other options). Larry approaches him and says "If you park in front of my house again I'm gunna get my AK and shoot your ass." Dan responds by telling him he's going to call the police. Larry gets flustered and remarks "Police?! I'll get the FBI up in here. I'm worth about $30 million, my sister's worth about $20 million." At this point Dan just walks away, but has learned his neighbor is a nutcase.

A friend spent the night at Dan's house. She parked her car in front of Larry's house. Early that morning around 6am, Larry parked both of his cars around the girl's car, and set off his car alarm, until somebody came out. He made her move her car at 6am or else he would keep running his car alarm. Cops were called again.

Dan's house has a nice front porch people like to relax on. Larry would come outside with a pipe or bat in his hand, walk by the occupant's cars and act like he was going to smash a window. Then he would start pacing around in front of the house, mumbling to himself. Eventually he'd just walk away and sit in his chair staring at the house, but still freaking everybody out.

Last encounter I personally had with him, we were sitting on the porch in the front, and Larry drives by in his car. He's creeping by slowly, staring at us sitting on the porch. Dan's roommate looks at him and says "What's up?!" and Larry starts laughing maniacally and speeds off.

Now that it's gotten colder, he's spend less time outside spying on the house and being a creeper. That or maybe he started taking his meds again. But there's a neighbor story for you.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
