Panthers like PROSTITUTES to

Recommended Posts

I did not see this posted and was scrolling through some Panther stuff and found this. TAKE A LOOK

I think we're all in agreement that the Carolina Panthers had an incredibly disappointing end to their season this year by getting throttled by the Arizona Cardinals. But as bad as that was, it seems like things could get even worse for at least one Panthers player.

An investigation into the now-defunct HushHush call-girl ring in Charlotte has resulted in the arrest of two prominent businessmen. Reportedly, the escort ring generated more than $3 million over seven years by catering to “some of the city’s civic and business elite.” And, according to Pro Football Talk, there's at least one Panthers player, and possibly more, who are likely to wind up on the soon to be released client list.

So far, three HushHush clients have pleaded guilty to charges of soliciting prostitution. Apparently authorities videotaped men meeting with HushHush prostitutes and also installed telephone wiretaps that recorded clients arranging encounters with Sallie Saxon, who ran the operation. Saxon and her husband have pleaded guilty to federal crimes, and have been sentenced to prison.

As for clients, the potential penalty is up to 60 days in prison. But, naturally, the hilarity of having a pro athlete named in this prostitution sting will provide all of us all with jokes for a lifetime. And make life for him during road games very rough.

The question now is who exactly will be named? It can't be Jake Delhomme, since he can't connect with anyone, least of all his receivers. Anyway, feel free to guess away, since your guess is as good as mine.

This guy I met through my work last fall used to be a General Contractor building custom houses in Weddington/ Marvin area before the economy went south and his company went bankrupt and he had to seek work elsewhere. Found out I was a huge Panthers fan and he said he had met a couple of them about doing work on their houses. One being Steve Smith (said he was kind of a prick to him but his wife was very nice). Smitty ended up using another contractor but he said he did do a contract for Ken Lucas.

According to him, he was contracted to do some work on Lucas's basement. Said Lucas was pretty weird guy and had a couple of different prostitutes at his house. Someone had told Lucas's girlfriend had just recently left him b/c of him having hookers.

I believed the guy- he was orginally from Jersey and didn't really follow the NFL or the Panthers. This was in September and he had no idea the whole training camp thing with Lucas and Smitty so I don't think he would have made it up.

Not saying Lucas is necessarily the one involved with this particular ring, but I'm sure there are pretty of local athletes and celebs involved with high-end prostitution.

    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
    • But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer.  But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield.  Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep.  Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
