Can you still trade coaches?

Cant do it. NFL changed the rules after the Gruden trade.
not so.

from the NFL anti-tampering policy...

Except for Head Coaches and High-Level Club Employees (club presidents, general managers, and persons with equivalent responsibility and authority), clubs are not permitted to exchange draft choices or cash for the release of individuals who are under contract to another organization.

you can't trade assistant coaches and low level staffers but you can trade HCs and GMs (or presidents, etc).

also, it has happened since the gruden trade. in '06 the chiefs sent a 4th rounder to the jets for herm edwards.

Articles pretty old so they might have reinstated it. But I doubt we will be able to trade Fox. Last year of his contract and no team would send picks to us for 8 games.
yeah, i'm not sure where that article got the info but the stuff i pointed to has been since then and the chiefs trading for herm deal happened well after that article was written.
