Clausen will die thanks to this offensive line draft PROTECTION

The Panthers offensive line is horrible as everyone already knows but when I saw Ruud flying up the middle untouched I thought Clausen was going to die. Luckily he had the wherewithall to somewhat throw it away as awkward as it looked. However, since the Panthers are going to get a good draft spot, why not just draft 2 offensive linemen with the first two picks.

Trade down and pick up a second rounder.

Then pick the 6-5, 305 lb. OT Derek Sherrod from Miss St. in the first round.

Then pick the 6-4, 310 lb. OG Mike Pouncey from Florida in the second round.

After that I don't give a crap what the Panthers do.

      Bryce doesn't like throwing into the middle of the field unless the play broke down or it's set up to give him a passing lane.  So because of this issue, most of the passing offense has to be outside the numbers towards the boundary. So you see him throw a lot of dump offs, swing routes, short side out routes, comebacks or deep balls outside the numbers using the boundary as protection of an interception.    Pretty easy for a NFL defense to see this and scheme against it.  All you have to do is run a shell cover 2 deep dime, LB plays a hook underneath, take the flat away with a blitz/flat zone option for the two inside DB's, outside two DB's play hook zone underneath and carry anything deep.    Pretty much what NO ran to take away Rico while also limiting What Bryce can do as well.
