...and your 2011 Motor Trend Car of the Year is...the Chevrolet Voltron

I'm sure that it being a Government Motors car had nothing to do with the decision...

In the 61-year history of the Car of the Year award, there have been few contenders as hyped -- or as controversial -- as the Chevrolet Volt. The Volt started life an Old GM project, then arrived fully formed as a symbol of New GM, carrying all the emotional and political baggage of that profound and painful transition. As a result, a lot of the sound and fury that has surrounded the Volt's launchhas tended to obscure a simple truth: This automobile is a game-changer.

It's supposed to be totally electric.

Haha yea it sure is Govt Motors. At least the govt is pushing a more enviorment friendly car. I'd rather that than them invade Iran.

I get that but if there's no functional reason for these cars to be about the same body style it just seems lazy.

    • Yeah anyone who watched him play knows he's competitive. Doesn't mean he wasn't eventually annoyed with the losing situation and didn't put up a fight over being held out which didn't help matters. I don’t necessarily blame him. But the team did back up a brinks truck for his services so it's a two way street. Just for clarification. That is@TrevorLaurenceTime22 who once upon a time quit the huddle when McCaffrey was traded. Christian McCaffrey could piss on his head and he'd still compliment him.
    • there have been numerous 2nd rounders who have signed today as rookies report next week.  No word on Scourton.  Hopefully soon.  Really hope he reports Monday and we on to business on the field.
    • Buying the band lunch during an official function is one thing.  Buying transfers through promises of financial aid from individual coaches, donors, etc. is another. Now I'm not saying that's what Teddy did and I don't think that's what he did, so I think they are mis-applying the rules here. I find his situation different from say, what Pruitt was doing at Tennessee.  It's sort of like what Saban helped his players do. Buy them Ferrari's, lodging, etc. You know?
