F "Happy Holidays"!

If you want to get all deep about it then you can easily twist it the other way into a positive.

For example. A Christian wishing a Hindu merry Christmas could be construed as "even though we celebrate differently you are no different to me than my own family/friends." I see it as a way to branch out.

It's like somebody getting pissed off because you made them chocolate chip cookies instead of oatmeal raisin. Just be happy somebody cares enough to make you cookies.

The political correctness crap is annoying as hell. People are way to sensitive. Spend energy on poo like discrimination or civil rights. Not season's greetings.

I haven't celebrated a single winter holiday ever BTW. I guess the best word for me is agnostic. When my brother got married we started exchanging gifts since it's much smoother to start than to quit.

The only bad memories I have about Christmas were when I was a little kid being singled out for exposing the Santa Claus lie. Kids all ganging up on me about it with teacher doing nothing to save her own ass. Or my music teacher assuming I was Jewish. That was an annoyance but I didn't feel discriminated against.

I agree. People spend way too much time being upset about some imaginary war on a holiday. ;)

let people, mainly businesses, greet people however they want. If it'll help a biz make money, let them say "praise the ice god maru" if they want.
