A White Running Back?

gat damnit dude are you really going to do this today? we know you are just trolling to get KT started

Its a testament to just how polarizing the black qb issue is. Some people are gonna hold a grudge for life with me for saying our QBs suck and the Panthers would be better if they gave a chance to a non-white QB. I mean they act like what Im suggesting aint been done before and aint worked before on other teams. Dudes really dont want to see no black man back there man. Passionately dont. Trying to say what white RBs have been thru is what black QBs go thru is a slap in the face to the Doug Williams, the Marlin Briscoes, the Willie Throwers. Nobody's out there hating on Peyton Hillis for what he does, no matter what anyone says. There's not 1,000's of black men sitting on message board griping about how much he makes or that he should be benched for a black man.

I'm right with you, let's change it up. I want to see a black QB, a white RB and an Asian middle LB next year.

The issue isn't polarizing to anyone but you. The vast majority of us (safe to say 99%) don't care what color our QB is.

The guy who started this thread did so just to watch you come in and make a fool / jerk of yourself. You obliged.

He piped. You danced. Congrats

The Panthers make sure every QB on their roster is white. The Panthers owner would never draft a black QB, no matter what. The Panthers would pull some guy away from fries at McDonalds before they'd seriously look at a black QB. The image they have, is the image they've worked hard to build. Every african american in Mecklenburg County knows this.

The guy who started this thread, received 1 star for trying to link what white RBs go thru to what black QBs go thru. I'd say thats about right. I've never seen anyone on this board ever say Peyton Hillis isnt strong enough or smart enough to be a RB in this league. Ive seen people such as yourself numerous times tell us how some black kid is too stupid to be a QB.

He piped. You danced. Congrats

You doubted Vick, prayed for his downfall, told us no one would want him, told us how stupid he was. He came back, became the best, made you look stupid as hell. How anyone could take what you say about any black QB serious is beyond me. I hope we do get a black QB, that way I know you wont be around anymore.

    • It is.  Even the mid to late round guys are super appealing and would have been ahead of Trevin in his drafft.  Deontae Lawson - just look his stuff up, lot's to like Jimmy Rolder - absolute force.  Limited sample size but the sample is pretty dope.  (one of my favorite sleepers) Keyshaun Elliott - stud run defender, great size/length, is always wrapping plays up, high IQ.  Even this dude Owen Heinecke is an interesting guy.  Not some dog in the middle but will absolutely be an asset for particular teams (I.E. Minny would be an awesome fit)
    • It's not explicitly saying it, it's suggesting that we draft a certain position, regardless if the receiver has the higher grade.  We would never had made the playoffs without T-mac. Morgan did the absolutely right thing, and that's what I hope he continues to do in the draft, which is follow the board and draft impact players. He used free agency to set up the draft for just that purpose. For anyone that thinks last season was anything but an improvement, I don't know what to tell 'em.  The goal is to keep the momentum going, and I'd say that addressing our three biggest needs with arguably the best players at their respective positions this free agency, and legit quality players to boot, goes along way toward building the foundation of long term success. Before free agency, no one was picking us to win the division, now more than a few analysts are, and that's before the draft. Pull your bootstraps up where you are and get to work. We aren't as good as we need to be, but the needle is moving in the right direction.
    • The Bengals absolutely fuged up paying Higgins elite WR money. You can't have your QB and two WRs eating up your whole cap or you end up with... well, the Bengals. Your QB is getting killed because your OL is trash and you can't stop anybody because your D is trash because you can't afford a balanced roster. Unless you're smacking it out of the park in the draft you're gonna be hard pressed to put a good team on the field despite an elite QB and WRs.
