Snowboarding trip starts tomorrow.

3 full days on the mountain.

GAH Im super jelly. I probably won't be able to get up there until January at some point and it will only be the NC mtns. or Snowshoe if Im lucky enough.

is Winter Park the one right by the highway?

drove out there this fall...we went out to Breckenridge just for a tour....very nice out there.

very different than here, that's for sure. So dry and desert like before you get into the mountains. here it is very hilly and lots of trees etc.

Not sure about the highway thing, this is my first time going there.

I can't wait, hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight.

gotcha...can't remember the name of the tunnels...Lincoln and Washington maybe...couple of old presidents anyway...and on one side is the ski area and when you come out the east side, it's like you are in a totally different world!

Winterpark is about an hour west of Denver...

Pretty cool. Went there once by myself while out there on work. Very pretty.
