Whats Peppers Worth realistically?

The question is what is he worth, and he is definitely worth a 1st and 2nd.

What we will get may be totally different, you would be totally foolish if you don't think that 25 or so other teams aren't seriously considering looking at him.

btw.....if he goes to another NFCS team (which i doubt will happen) we HAVE to keep gross. if anyone knows how to block him it would be gross.

do any NFCS teams run 3-4 defenses?

imo i think if a team offered us 2 or 3 players that could come in and be big contributers for us we should take that. atleast we would know how those guys play at this level with draft picks u never realy know

I bet Gross makes himself the highest paid o lineman in the league this year, so that we can franchise Pep, and trade him.

According to Gross himself, money wasn't the issue last year, they were very close. Of course, there's gonna be more this year due to the circumstances, but it should be negotiable. The problem is what was the issue last year and will the Panthers concede? I don't think they are in too good a bargaining position...

Last season they were trying to pay him as a RT, after a stellar year at LT the price goes up....

Toss in Peppers and Gross knowing that they can't use the franchise tag on him again......price goes up

It doesn't really matter what Peppers is actually worth. What matters is what another team is willing to give up for him. I feel confident that somebody will part with at least a 1st round pick to get him and maybe more later picks.

Sure. Players get traded all the time and work out new deals. Kris Jenkins is a perfect example.

Depends who it is, really. I can see us getting a 1st and a 3rd at the most, though.
