that was the report back in december...alot has changed since then though and I would be shocked if he stays considering harbaugh is gonna be the highest paid NFL coach, and he would lose possibly $30-40 million in guaranteed :eek6:

...keep your fingers crossed!

I'm positive this garbage was started by a steeler/cowboy fan who is probably crapping purple twinkies over the fact that Luck will be a Panther and thus rothelsburger/romo will soon be overshadowed by the media fawning over Luck in Carolina.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
