He is a free agent but my assumption is that the best QB on the roster will be resigned.

For his injury, it's the least severe of all the shoulder injuries so that's good I guess. I don't expect there to be any problems with that.

Newton will be a solid QB in the NFL. I am also not sure whether Clausen really got the best opportunity with Knucklehead Davidson at the offensive helm and John Fox didn't seem to really want him to succeed either.

I doubt we draft him though.

If we pick at #1 without trading down. It will ether be Green or Fairley. If we trade down then it's a toss up, but i'm about 99.9% sure Newton will ether:

A) Be picked up by a team without a clue, i.e. the Bills.

or

Drop to late 1st or early 2nd.

Youngn tried to call me out in the other "Eat Crow" thread, and I started this thread before the NC game was even played.

S/O to the Cam huggers who held him down strong before he was even drafted, and it wasn't easy because we were definitely out numbered.
