There's a remarkable amount of hate towards Newton. The "establishment" doesn't like him for a host of reasons, none of which has anything REALLY to do about his skills as a player or really about football. I'm pretty certain if he were to throw 33 for 33 for 500 yards and 7 TDs, then rush 250 yards for 4 more TDs, people would say he just played a soft college defense.

First off, those stats will NEVER happen, i see him throwing 25 times, completing 19 or 18 and having 280 yards or more and he will likely run 15 times for 78 yards. Anyways, you know why i dont want him to start on day one (if drafted), i dont mind drafting him IF he backs up for a year and learning, but if drafted people will want him in too soon and that could hurt.

I'd love to see LaFell and Gettis on the outside, with Smith in the slot. If we keep Armanti around maybe throw him in there also.

Dude Green has not played a down of Football yet in the NFL so NO.... He is not better then LeFell or Gettis. Also Edwards is not going to be released for Green. With your logic we might as well just draft Von Miller cause he is going to be better then Anderson and Davis. I mean he is the best LB right.

I never said Edwards would get cut. Green is x10 as good as LeFell or Gettis ever were in college and hes a junior. Smith is getting older and probably won't stick around and Edwards might be a bust and even if he isn't he will never be as impactful as Smith was whereas Green can be. We do need him.

I suppose you think we should use the pick on another project QB named Cam that will take years to see the field if he ever even does turn into a NFL QB.

Von Miller isn't worth anywhere near #1 overall anyway so I won't address such stupidity.
