I think Panthers fans are going to be in for quite the wake up when Dalton isn't the backup. He is far from the worst. -
Howell should be a decent backup but at this point it is worth questioning if there is anything else at play given the number of times he's been traded. And to springboard from that it's almost laughable looking at how many other teams are playing musical chairs with their QB rooms continually churning and not being complacent while the lowly Panthers have been content with two of the worst backups in the league.
