Chud is the new OC

Injury concerns could limit how much money he'll get but someone will take him if we don't.

I think a lot of people don't realize that Moore, as a starter, still has a 7-6 record I believe and has thrown for 16 TDs to 11 INTs. If you took away this year, he'd be 6-2 with like 11 TDs and 3 INTs as a starter, lol. Those numbers may be a bit off but I think they're pretty close.

He'll be fine either way. His injury is the least severe of the shoulder injuries so his recovery won't be an issue.

If he doesn't sign here, I have no doubt he'll be on an NFL roster next year. There are a lot of teams with QB needs and not much out there.

Truthfully, if he wasn't here this year and he was entering the FA class, people would be screaming for him. Grass is always greener I guess.

Funny, I have yet to see his name pop up on any forum I've looked at..

Perhaps your biased?

Nah...couldn't be..

Not happy about any of these guys. Can someone explain to me why we keep hiring OCs from the f**king Browns.

cause this guy was the OC the last time the browns were decent, when they went 10-6 with Derek fugin Anderson. Chuds turned the guy into a TD machine. like 3700 yards and 29 TDs, plus some rushing, lol.

He only had one good year with Derek Anderson though. To me, that doesn't prove all that much when the guy follows that up by having two bad years and getting fired.

I hate to keep killing everybody's buzz, but people are acting like we have the best coaching staff ever even though all 3 of the new coordinators were fired from their previous coordinator jobs. It's gonna be different for sure, but is it really better? Time will tell.

he had one bad year as OC in cleveland caused by injuries & turmoil surrounding the status of rommeo crennel. the fact that norv turner held him in high regard gives me hope more than anything. we still have to give him the personnel to make things happen.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
