Any Bobcat in All Star Game this Year?

I think if we can get control of the 8 or 7 seed we should be rewarded with a representative in the all star game. I guess it should be Stephen Jackson.

If we don't get the spot I see Igudola and Granger filling out the roster instead.

Then of course the Heat will send 3, Celtics will send 3, Hawks will send a couple, and guys like Howard and Stoudemire will definitely go. So that's about 10 spots already filled and you could make an argument for guys like Raymond Felton and the hawks and celtics each sending an additional player.

considering everyone played so poorly under larry i doubt we get anyone. just think how different the season could possibly be if silas was here from the beginning. We could be thinking of at least one reserve if not two in DJ and diaw...believe it or not.

Just think how much better DJ might be if Silas had been the coach for the last two seasons.....

I disagree, if we are in playoff position by all star break, I do think Jack will go. He should have went a few other times in his career and usually the coaches do a good job of getting guys like that who are in position into the game during solid later years.

If anyone gets injured, you can guaran-fuging-te that Stern won't put him on the roster. Stephen Jackson gets royalties from the 'when to call a technical foul' video, just not popular with the higher ups and refs.

all star team is terrible. i won't be watching a second of all star weekend. they couldn't even throw gerald henderson on the sophomore team?

NBA is a crap. You have 3-6 teams stacked with top talents, and obviously they play off each other, I'm sure guys like Stephen Jackson and Andre Iguodola would look great playing with KG, ray allen and rajon rondo....

Then you have the teams that have no intention of winning and constantly fill up the Rookie Sophomore game like the Kings, Clippers, etc.

God forbid you actually compete and play your best players. NBA is a joke.

Too each their own I guess. I actually love the NBA right now. Great teams, with great talent on good franchises. Years like this year I will miss very little playoff games.

IMO this is way better than 1 superstar on majority of the teams surrounded by mediocre talent. Makes the league boring to me. That's why I stop watching for awhile. But now there are atleast 10 NBA teams with multple stars and rosters you can easily name the starting 5 or most of it.

    • Yep, the Panthers powers that be seem desperate to convince themselves he can clear the bare minimum bar of demanding a legit franchise QB contract. Canales seems to be laying the groundwork here of building the case that all of Bryce's shortcomings are still there and even more glaring than you may have thought while his strengths aren't nearly as strong as you had hoped and aren't near enough to make up for the lack of pure physical tools. When you have historically anomalous lack of measurables you need historically anomalous positive intangibles to make up for it. That was always issue with Bryce as a prospect. Like Parcells said when evaluating him, "he better walk on water".
    • I'm honestly not sure how much "west coast" plays into it. There's a huge difference between Tucson, AZ and Spokane, WA where he spent the previous two decades of his career. Chapel Hill is significantly different than Spokane but way more similar to it than Tucson. You're talking about a pretty significant plane ride to get back home either way. He and his family would be flying private and direct so we're talking about a 3ish hour flight vs. a 5ish hour flight. That's basically a wash. It's not like he went from Gonzaga to another PNW program. Tucson is a dramatic departure from Washington state. Honestly a far bigger departure climatically and scenery wise than Chapel Hill would be.
