Cam Newton wants to be Big Ben

Recommended Posts

If we did trade down and select Newton, he would likely start the year on the bench with sporadic playing time like The Golden Calf of Bristol did in Denver. We would still need a veteran QB to start the year. As for having to many young project QB's I disagree. I really doubt that Pike even makes the team. My prediction is 1-veteran QB, 2-Mid-late 1st rd rookie, and 3-Clausen. I think that will be our QB line up to start the year. Whether or not the rookie is Newton, Gabbert, or Mallett...I don't really have a preference. I don't think that Mallett is the nutcase that people make him out to be. I don't think that Newton's off the field issues are any worse than the UNC players that were banned from playing all year, and Gabbert never took a snap from under center all year but has a good arm.

The moral of the story is none of the QBs coming out are worth the #1 overall pick. We don't have a second rounder where there will still be some left. In the third no one worth picking will be there so we are not taking a QB.

Get over it.

So if there is a season let's go into the season and get fugged by our OWN QB!!! Great Idea sir maybe you should be the GM

TRD = TURD

Yes because I'm the only one that has this idea. You would waste a draft pick #1 on any of these guys?

The closest guy to worth it is Gabbert and he's almost as raw as Newton. We'll sign a vet and go with Moore, Clausen, and Pike. Pike will not make it.

Ok as long as you admit that we will at least grab a QB than I am fine with that. I just can't take another year Jimmy's Sausage's

Trade for a QB, Draft a QB, Trade down and draft a QB, sign a FA QB, steal a QB do something to get a fugging QB!!!!

so you're a good GM.. no matter what the case, who do you pick up? you have 2 avenues... who is the guaranteed pick?

The only reason why I think Cam can be great in the NFL is because of h close to that then he will be worth the pick. That is a big IFis size. I have watched Big Ben use his size to his advantage his whole career and I have always thought that this would be the reason why Cam can make it in the NFL. Now that he is trying be like Big Ben is great for him. Every time I watched Cam play I always thought of Big Ben, and if Cam can learn to be like him then he should be a great NFL QB. I don't think Cam has anywhere close to the arm Ben has but maybe he can use this and translate it to the NFL.

If he is successful at this I would love to spend a 1st round pick on him. I think Big Ben is one of the best Qbs in the NFL and if Cam can come anywhere
