As soon as the Best in the World shirts go up on wweshop I'll be getting one and a Broski shirt.

I still don't know how I feel about how they brought Punk back, I knew once they announced the Rey/Cena match he was going to show up and I marked the hell out when Cult of Personality started playing but I think they could have kept the angle rolling. Now we've basically got Punk back so all the speculation about his involvement anywhere else is all squashed.

After tonight, I think they're going to have a hard time not making Cena a heel. Punk is getting more over as a face with the mainstream audience. Last night was a perfect example; the crowd was very pro-Cena during his match with Rey and win, but when Punk showed up it was 50/50, if not slightly in favor of Punk.

The look on Cena's face when Punk holding up his belt got a louder reaction tells me they are actually considering a heel turn. The whole thing may have been to judge the crowd reaction to Punk after recent events in an arena not filled with internet marks.

Cena looked uncertain when Punk got the louder reaction, almost embarrassed, and then walked away. That's not how you book your top babyface if you plan to keep him in that role. Plus, Cena beat Rey for the title, who had already wrestled a match and was at a disadvantage.

It makes perfect sense to turn Cena, but I can understand why they might not want to do so. He is the face of the company and will likely remain so. Punk may have Austin potential, but Cena has that Rock mainstream appeal.

I don't expect they'll do a straight heel turn with Cena if they do. What I'd do is slowly have him start to 'crack' and maybe have the re-match at Summerslam and have Cena unable to beat Punk, get frustrated and end up getting disqualified. Then he comes apologizes on RAW to Punk and the fans, they set up the re-match and Cena still can't beat Punk - note here that Punk doesn't have to beat Cena, it's just that Cena has to be unable to put Punk away to 'prove' he's the true champion.

Eventually Cena will flip and go full-on heel and beat Punk dirty to win the title. His explanation would be that he played by the rules, was the nice guy, and at MiTB it cost him the title. And also the fans booed him out of the building and cheered Punk, not just in Chicago, but since his return, and he says he didn't turn on the fans, the fans turned on him, yada yada. Nothing really groundbreaking storyline-wise, but it doesn't have to be if they do it right.

All of the WWE hardcore fans are hating on cult of personality. I personally MTFO when it played because I remember hearing it when he was in ROH.

fug them. That song is awesome and fits Punk absolutely perfectly - especially if he's gearing up for a run as a top babyface - which I think is pretty clear at this point.

I think HHH is trying to get punk into Stone Cold land. Austin was a heel starting out but his character became very popular with 18-40yr olds, the key market, which lead to the wrestling explosion in the mid to late 90's. The MNW's also drove that explosion.

But think about the children! What would little Jimmy do if Cena was a heel?

Lose all faith in their role model and grow up to become bitter old drunks?

Or maybe, if we're lucky, stop watching altogether so we can get back to some actual W-R-E-S-T-L-I-N-G.
