I can't listen at work but the reviews are pretty positive, what kind of music?

Also, I think this thread should just be about Beach's music, dude obviously has some skills.

That and ya'll are tired of my crap by now :)

I honestly don't know how I would classify my tunes. I tend to be influenced everywhere from Wilco to early soul (Isley Bros.) to 90s alternative to chillwave.

Gotta run for the day but happy listening and I'm gonna try to upload a few new tunes by this weekend.

Back from working, thanks for the extra comments...again any critique encouraged from you music lovers! I know there's a ton of posters that talk about great music a lot here....

Youre not far from some quality sounding recording. Are you using a drum machine or actually playing the drums? I wish I could get my act together and start playing the guitar again. My ADD doesn't allow it these days.

equipment wise:

I used to have Sonar Home Studio 6 hooked up with my old Peavey electric through an M-Audio port...but switched after Sonar crashed a few years ago (I hated that interface). Now, I'm working on re-building up a quality home studio and getting good with synth, bass, and beat making. So far I'm using:

Software: PreSonus StudioOne & occasionally will hook Native instruments with my keyboard for bass

Guitars: Ibanez customized Artcore semi-hollow electric & another dark cherry & black Ibanez AE

Midi Keyboard: I'm using a basic M-Audio 37-key but REALLY REALLY want to save up for a M-Audio Axiom 49...those things are pretty pricey

Other stuff: Occasionally I'll whip out my harmonica but haven't tried it with the newer equipment (The harmonica is on my older, let's say more raw music haha), sometimes get out the Bongo Cajon for live acoustic accompaniment

edit: oh and I use M-Audio MXL 990/991 microphones for the vocals

Thanks man, that's one of my favorite songs I've written. I just re-recorded the vox with autotune (the robot voice thing) and I had fun with it!

Keep playing man, you've got something going for you. "Chill" is definitely something people wanna hear

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
