I honestly don't see the reasoning behind this..

it's nice in theory to think we have a chance at getting a guy like Paul, but come on guys... there is probably a 1% chance of Paul going to Charlotte, and that's being optimistic. Knicks have the cap room to get Paul, and let's see.. go to NY to play in one of the best markets in pro sports with two of the best players in the game in Amare and Melo, or play here...

yeah, another reason to not care about the NBA.

If this trade actually happens, probably gonna finally kill my interest in this team. Stupid stupid stupid move.

Agreed, stupid move... folks were just starting to buy in, just starting to nibble and then they pull this.

If this goes down, I may follow MJ's lead and cut my costs as well (on Bobcats tickets).

Yeah I feel this is a dumb deal...I like Gerald Wallace and with Jackson and Tyrus injured you really want to bring in some other players who aren't down with the team Chemistry....I wanna keep all our players and get CP3...I know impossible but I don't want to lose Wallace

reading through the twitter and rumors on hoopshype, they are saying batum in not involved... we are shying away from pryz n cas/picks... portland is pushing to trade greg oden (doesnt say to who) nothing said about andre miler or camby since months ago when silas 1st took over.

also says cavs are heavily talking to us for gerald, as from light interest clippers and hawks. rockets are now interested also...

but it does imply that gerald is def gone by trade deadline.

my opinion, im prolly most interested in oden. he has most potential of any value would could get back, in houston if it inlcuded some type of t-williams n whatever it took for kevinmartin id be interested

NBA will become just like MLB... if you don't root for LA, Boston, Miami or NY you shouldn't waste your time, everyone else is just a feeder team.

Actually not true. Everyone in MLB has a chance as long as you have a good all around team. Go look at the Marlins 2 world series winss, Tampa Bay's, etc. MLB is actually the easiest of the big leagues to win big without huge stars.

The reason the NBA is so unfair is you only have 5 people on the court at once and having 3 all-stars is just ridiculous.

Anyway, we're all going to hate the trade at first. The fact is, I didn't see a way around NOT giving up GW eventually. Better to do it now while he has some value. Pyrz sucks at scoring but he's a good shot blocker and re bounder and he's a big body.

This trade will have as much to do with Henderson's recent rise as cutting cost, since no one would want Jax obviously we'd need to deal GW.

Here is what I think the trade will look like. ESPN Rumors said that Charlotte was entertaining trade offers for Wallace if a #1 pick was involved.

Charlotte Receives

C- Joel Pryzbilla

SF- Luke Babbitt

PG- Andre Miller

1st Round Pick

Portland Receives

SF- Gerald Wallace

PG- Shaun Livingston

*possibly a 2nd round pick

If it's just for Joel and some money then MJ and his team can F'N Leave. F HIm for being cheap ass clown. You don't trade a 17ppg 8rbg player for 35 year old sorry ass player.

Good point, but a lack of a salary cap has still hurt baseball badly.

You're right... in the NBA this kind of talent-hording is even worse.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
