Goff was a pro bowler by year 2 and his first prepped as the starter going in….and comes with textbook check marks physically.  That’s not a BY comp.

Gurley had a phenomenal season without a doubt but the fact is he was practically their best receiver. That's not a glowing statement for the WR room. And again. Goff was 7th in the entire league in yards per pass attempt in his first full season as a starter. This past season he was 2nd in the league in yards per pass attempt only behind Lamar Jackson. Meanwhile our QB has thrown for more than 300 yards in a game just once across 28 career starts. Goff has thrown for 300 or more yards in 43 games. They do not belong in the same conversation.
