Teams have two months of game tape from last season on Bryce, Canales' offense

This is just some rando I found on Twitter. This is his first interception.

I thought he was blitzed at first, he wasn't. PA left, roll right, multi level. This was bread and butter for him last year. Renfrow on the bottom under Sanders, XL left tight on the line, Tet up wide. 

Renfrow ducks under Sanders, up and out and I think he's the first read, think this is a post. Sanders leaks to the flat, takes a linebacker with him. Tet is clearing out. XL running a 10 yard cross. Safety 29 looks like he's playing the RB, then Bryce is expecting him to go with Renfrow, but he spins to the OUTSIDE then sprints to take away XL on the cross.

You can see in the screenshot he's turned back towards the play and Bryce never even sees him. Hell of an athletic move here to be sure but this feels designed.

Little bit of a sloppy route by XL there (you can see him drift up a little bit) and he doesn't attack the ball, but even if he does he's getting absolutely murdered there. This is a horrible read, horrible decision all around. 

I think this was a designed deke the way that guy turned way then beat someone to a spot. Great play by the defender, no idea what Bryce was looking at here. Best case scenario XL is pee'ing blood tonight. Why this is bad beyond it being Bryce's third year is defenses finally have tape on him. I don't think he put anything useful on film his first season, and the coaching staff was fired anyway. He was benched for most of the first half of 2024, and when he came back had training wheels on until they started playing the dregs who'd quit. 

And even during his "stretch" last year, he got destroyed by the Bucs who were the only team who saw him twice. That was the most ominous thing. A very middling at best defense got to look at him on film twice and totally shut this offense down. You're either getting better or getting worse and I don't think you can say the Panthers offense got better compared to last year, either personnel wise or schematically (as Bryce really limits what an offense can do.)

I think things are about to get pretty bad.

One of the things that makes offensive coaches like Reid and McDaniels good Is that they anticipate defensive adjustments to their attack and plan for them.

The real question is will the Panthers win a single game this year with BY starting?

I am VERY confident when I say no, they won’t. BY is the worst QB to ever start an NFL game and at this point our biggest concern should be that the only way he can possibly be starting at this point is that he has evidence that someone in the organization has CP on their computer, or something equally compromising. 

That should be concerning to everyone and is legitimately the ONLY viable explanation at this point.

first falcons game was Andy.

Second Saints game, I mean, I wasn't really counting the first one.

DBs have been cheating coverage and not playing true to their assignments every year Bryce has played.  Especially the S.  I think all 3 openers feature a S not respecting Bryce’s arm and dismissing their assignments to make plays.

It is really hard to lose every game in the NFL but man, I don't know with this team. I mean does Ikey coming back really change anything that much?
