Thats why its going to suck spending another top 10 pick on a qb instead of an elite Lb, pass rusher or whatever.  but it what it is and you have to have a qb to win in this league

Spending a single top 10 pick is fine. Spending two top 10 picks, DJ Moore and two 2nds cannot ever happen again.

Yeah, he could absolutely be more consistent. But what QB do you want me to show you how they miss throws every game? You could probably pick any QB in the NFL and do a cut up of missed throws in every game - and they'll likely have better WRs than Carolina.

Well, there was that Jayden Daniels game last year where he completed like 90% of his passes. He was just in a friggin zone. Don't think I've ever seen anything like that before. But that ain't the norm.

We have an offense stacked with draft picks and an OL stacked with incredibly good free agents. We have a top 15 back at minimum (imo Chuba is better than that).  We have the top WR drafted last year.

Yeah they'll all make mistakes. Yes they all look bad sometimes.

But Bryce is just not helping his teammates. Even in his good games he would sometimes go through stretches of pretty bad play.

At this point I think XL isn't very good, but heck maybe if he bad a different QB throwing to him he wouldn't look so bad this year... Because basically everyone not named Adam Thielen only looks meh with Young behind centre.

Fast foward to Dallas, they essentially lean into the same game plan against the Cowboys and I think everyone was surprised by how quickly it started to look complimentary.  In my opinion the productive offense really helped the defense as well.  We played quite solid against a top offense. Finally we make our way to the Jets and Bills, Chubba's return.  You can't say the low scoring affair and return to ineffective football against the Jets was all on Chubba, they were indeed a better defense and so was Buffalo.  But the production difference between the two backs in both games was both visually and statistically obvious.  The bigger picture is the offense took a major step back as well.  They are other moving parts and it's isn't all one thing, BY9>Dalton by a decent margin at this point.   But yeah, Rico's vision and athleticism is just better than Chubba and it jumps at you.
    • First day in 3 weeks my pain started to dwindle just a tiny bit.  Got switched from hydrocodone to post-shingles pain patches.  My insurance refused to pay for my patches as I’m too young for shingles per them.  I also need a prescription to get shingles shot and insurance also won’t pay for it even thought I just had shingles and in high risk to get it again.
