Nah he's definitely not that good unless he can take another step plus stay healthy and I'm not 100% sure he can.. way too much when McDavid and Draisaitl are going to be 19-22m AAV players.

I wouldn't pay that much for them either. They don't play well unless they're together and neither of them shows up for the playoffs...

Both are averaging about 1.5 ppg for their playoff careers and pretty much are the only reason why they have gotten to the Stanley cup the past two years...

Not arguing about overpaying them though. MCJesus is the only player in the NHL that should be getting a contract that high though

Not sure Drai gets that much. McJesus probably if he wants a crazy big contract

      I recall the huddle giving me shiiit since the first hernaiy era. " You don't know more than scouts or Marty" "LOLs at questioning draft picks, team knows more than YOU!!" "Put in your resume" etc etc. Besides Hernaiy 1st round run, the collective huddle or just me or many others on this very board have 100% drafted better than the millions of dollars paid staff draft pools.  I've been saying for years, they need a total overhaul in the scouting department. Fire every single scout. Most scouts have short contracts, hire eagles, ravens, BUCS, blowboys, rams, chiefs, and lions scout. O and whoever keeps the Steelers full of WRs. Use teppers wallet, its the best method to fixing this huge problem.   Holy hell.... This team is in a black hole...
