If things aren't resolved by June then there might be a problem. Before that teams are very limited in what they can do anyway. That is 3 months away.

If we do end up with another season like this past year, because of the lock out. I say lets draft Fairley.... because we would end up with the 1st pick again next year.... Welcome Luck!!!

Under normal circumstances, if a player that is drafted doesn't sign a contract by the end of the season, that player's contract rights are then put back into the draft and the player is again up for grabs.

So, if there is a complete lock out, no games at all, no season. That means these draft picks will go unsigned. Does that mean that no matter who picks who right now, every player could end up back in the draft come April 2012?

Just a thought, and I'm not sure what the correct answer is there.
