-Icky & Lewis road grading on the left was top tier today. They’re getting it done the past two weeks.

I was listening to a PODCAST on YouTube and the host was talking about ICKY was selected because he was such a beast in the Run game.  He's played well at LT but when we run the ball it is in his wheelhouse and it's fun to watch him destroy people.

Icky was amazing yesterday, I suggest people go back and focus on him, he was throwing folks off the line, running downfield making hits.  He was awesome

I made him and Lewis a pair because those two are just singing very well and destroying guys the last two weeks.

If Icky plays mistake free in the passing game, it's a huge factor in controlling the clock for this team.  Ezeiruaku had a few early moments, but that was about it.  We had our way with the entire DAL defense.

And let's not forget Ryan Fitzgerald. That guy had a busy, busy day and he rocked the hell out of it.

I was scratching my head about the move away from Piniero, and thought we were saving dimes instead of dollars, but this kid is the real deal.

Thank you - I knew I was forgetting someone.  Our rookies are putting in some work.

McMillan, Scourton, Princely, Horn, Evans, Fitz, Trevor, Tremaine all had substantial playing time.  Ransom still with just like 7 snaps.  Hope that starts to change, he ticked back down in playing time this week.

Got to throw TMac onto the kudos list! He's been good from day 1, but looks to be getting better every game, although that could just be he and Bryce getting into rhythm, as you said.

2 TD's and I love love love watching him block! Big man ain't afraid to hit!!

What I don't get is why it took so long to put him in.  He should have been the first player off the bench when Hunt got hurt.  I have a bad feeling he's not going to be here next season.

If he keeps showing up biggly when given the opportunities, I think they will try to resign him rather than letting him walk.  Why he didn’t draw more interest from other teams this past free agency period is a question I don’t have an answer for.  Happy it worked out for us and we got to retain him.

I hope so too but there must have been some riff which kept him out of the line-up.  This is why I think he is going to test the market.  Hopefully DM signs him before we get to that point.

    • No it's not, there isn't a single coach who's only job is to win games, because no coach is going to win games unless they're also improving the quality of play out of their players. For coaches with contending teams, winning is their #1 job, but I think it's a more than reasonable take to say that coaches of not yet contending teams winning comes second to making your players better. We have 11 games left, if you gave me the option of winning all 11 of the games in terribly ugly fashion to where we don't improve the quality of our players vs we lose all 11 games, but do so in spectacular fashion where our players show significant improvement, I'm taking option B every time. Because option B is the path to future and long term success, while option A is a path to short term happiness at the expense of long term franchise stability.   And yes, that is clearly an extreme example that could never actually play out in either way, but you still know what I mean.  And no, it has nothing to do with draft position, it's about how good will these players be a year, 2 years, 3 years, etc, down the line, when you hope to be a true contending team, because nobody actually thinks we're that type of team this year unless you're literally crazy
    • Yeah if that's what we're signing up for here, then I just can't get behind it.  That contract extension that Hurney gave Jake that offseason was BRUTAL.
    • That's quite literally his only job. Every year has new goals, new identities, etc. But the one constant is to win at all costs. He isn't guaranteed to be here next year UNLESS he wins. Why would he give a poo to mold a bunch of players someone else might be coaching?
