Something tells me you were not doing that ‘it should count’ thing the week he had an INT called back for a penalty.

I know better than to think these gymnastics will stop. This is what we’re gonna get all off season around here.

So if Bryce passes 5 balls to Legette and he drops them all, would you guys still come on here and complain about how badly he did. That's basically what the guy posting the numbers did. It was a 17 yrd pass in Legettes hands and the 31 pass to TMac was caught and should have counted. A spokesman from the NFL has pretty much admitted to it.

All Bryce can do is pass the ball. If it's a good pass, he should get credit for it, if not, he shouldn't and no the INT was on him. He was bailed out.

bro you're defending a guy by adding passes that weren't caught because his numbers are so shitty. Every qb has passes that get dropped, or loses completions because of calls that could go either way.

you need islam

You were using stats to make Bryce look worse than what he played. I just highlighted those stats were misleading.

And his numbers weren't bad even without those two catches. They may not have been great but they were not bad. They are only shitty to the BYHC crowd.

It bares repeating. This board has mercilessly ridiculed Caleb Williams. Yet many of the same people make every excuse under the sun for Bryce. Caleb Williams is 7th in passing yards and 6th in passing touchdowns. Bryce Young is 31st in passing yards per game.

What are our standards here????

Stan on. I would wonder who took over your account if you didn’t.

A dropped or missed catch is usually on the receiver but not always and it is subjective as hell.

You are venturing into territory where when a WR bails him out on a bad throw or prevents an interception, we should take that away and award the incompletion and the pick. Same line of thinking.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
