Ravens Harbaugh Fired

Apparently rumors are Lamar Jackson has been unhappy with Harbaugh and the staff overall. I've largely been rather indifferent to Lamar but I don't see why he has that kind of organizational pull considering he can't even get over the playoff hump. If he continues to fail to move forward in the playoffs or fails to make the playoffs at all with a new staff he only has himself to blame. Regardless he is now putting the pressure squarely on his own shoulders. Good luck bud.

I agree but I think its a mix of two things.  One is that it's been 18 years so that change was going to come at some point anyways.  He's been there forever.  The 2nd is that they are heavily financially committed to Lamar Jackson, so its a chance to push all the chips to the middle of the table for them.  If it flops, they can say they did everything they could to get Lamar over the hump.  If they keep losing in the playoffs with Harbaugh they can't say that.

When Tepper bought the Panthers we all expected his wealth to be an advanatage because he could basically buy any coach or GM.  As we all know, it hasn't gone this way and if Tepper was smart, he'd give Harbaugh or Tomlin whatever they want to come here because these types of coaches would instantly change the culture.

His wealth isn't his issue and he has blown chunks of it just not effectively. He is a terrible manager which includes hiring and control. Good managers let their people do their thing until they need to step in, that's not Tepper. He is also partial to snake oil salesmen and loves him some yes men.

He still hasn't shown the ability to work with someone with a giant and earned ego that wouldn't kiss the ring. Those guys have 'poor interviews'.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
