Ron Rivera inherited the core of a 12-4 team minus Peppers then got 2 generational players in his first 2 drafts and Canales still got to the playoffs faster than he did with the island of misfit toys

I like Dave but this leaves out way too much context to really be comparable

The fact that Cannales also called the last four plays with nothing short over the middle when he had 3 time outs and needed 30 yards was pretty damning  too

There were open guys over the middle to be fair. He isn't throwing the ball

I know on the first or second play he was chased from the pocket in less than a second. So it broke down pretty quickly.

Yeah and when they knew we had to pass with the game on the line how did he look?

You’re such a miserable old man Frank. Everyone and their mother saw the line collapse with horrible play calling on that last drive, even Greg pointed it out. How’d he look throwing the go ahead touchdown with 2 minutes remaining? Dotting up Coker and Tmac all game?

I love that you have suffer for at least 2 more years with Bryce at qb. It truly warms my heart.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
