Damn.....Beane was a god here a year ago with people praising his ability to have a talented roster

People are just acting like he hasn't put together a talented roster, but it was still good enough to be in contention for a Super Bowl for most of his time there including this year. The fact is is that from Albert Breer and other sources, Sean McDermott had virtually just as much power as Beane did. It was a collaboration.

All that being said, it's not even really worth discussing, as Beane is in Buffalo, an established GM, and still highly regarded in league circles based upon the same body of work which some Huddlers are being hypercritical about.

We have Dan. I like Dan. He improved from year one to year two, and hopefully he continues to help the franchise progress.

well, be real. He was having success and challenging for a SB trip while we were flailing around like usual in the Tepper era. Pick a year that you wouldn’t have traded outcomes with Buffalo.

I was a big Gettlegut supporter until the Josh Norman situation. I broke clean for his handling and didn't care for him at all, but glad for his 2017 draft.

He didn't want to pay Josh, but tagged him. Then he didn't get ANY trade value for a guy that gets the highest CB contract in the NFL?? Washington was ran by Scot McCloughan world class talent-knower and big booze hound. Then Dave used 3 out of the 5 picks on CB after he had no choice since Free agent period was over. Just a blunder of mistake and he should have been fired over the handling of it. Just like Josh play on the tag and 99.845012% Panthers finally have back2back winning seasons, you *****!!

Lol yeah. I remember. Bull in a China shop persona too. No tact.

I loved him when he took Star and KK I thought we were really on to something.
I needed more and more chaser to swallow his bullshit as time went on.

Gettleman's problem was that early on when he was cleaning up Hurney's cap mess he made some great trash heap moves that really paid off. That intensified his arrogance to billionaire tech bro levels and it was eventually his undoing. If you recall the end of his time in NY after us, he was eventually a guy that was pretty humbled.

Oh yeah. They took him back in NY because of that SB. He proceeded to do the opposite of good.

I ate his first PC up though. “You have to put the proper value on the player”.
Sounded great at the time.
