Even their size plays with their nuts clipped ...  Especially in front of the net.

Honestly its a product of our draft profiles, for years the canes have nabbed a ton of higher "skill" guys the mid rounds who fell because of limited size....  Nadeu,Blake acquired guys like Stank and Elhers ext. And let guys like Geekie,Foegal,Noeson, Lorenz walk or were traded away.... We have drafted a lot of boom or bust big D men recently....  but who knows.

 

I feel like rod doesn't value size much in the forward group and it leads to us getting bullied in physical games.

At the end of the day we gotta score on the freakin power play in the playoffs.  A lot of our problems are because we just can't do anything with the man advantage.  It doesn't matter if you stop 85-90% of power plays if your power play percentage is 0

It's even more important as the PK is now just average (11th in the league). Hopefully, the kill improves now the blue line is getting healthy. 

But the PP, aside from the occasional flashes of brilliance, has been trash all season. It's very predictable. Every PP looks the same. And we all know what the definition of crazy is....
