Cam's bad day the WR's fault.

And you have no idea what he is doing to work on these things or not. You really have no idea what it takes to be a pro quarterback anyway since you aren't one, so stop trying to be the expert when whatever you did was not at the pro level.

The reality is that guys like Shula do know what it takes and if they draft him they believe he can do it and perform well down the road. Footwork and timing are easier to work on than speed, arm strength, and size.

Like usual you are seriously overestimating what needs to be done based on your already decided opinion.

You absolutely have a right to it but to keep pawning it off as any better or more legitimate than other folks is ridiculous. Commonly called delusions of grandeur. Fortunately there is medication for that.

You don't have to take my opinion for anything other than what it is. I'm not forcing you to read any of it but just because I'm not a pro QB doesn't mean I don't know what it takes to get there or that I don't have close relationships with many people that do. You don't know my past at all so don't pretend to.

Also, I've stated many times that if they feel that Cam is the best and his issues aren't that big of a deal to fix, they will take him. It's very simple. I only respond because all the nuthuggers think his issues (which they wouldn't admit were real until recently) can easily be fixed overnight or with a few sessions on the practice field when that simply isn't the case.

So I guess the spot for the out route was on the sideline...because that is where he put the ball.

He was throwing way over the WR's heads.

Make excuses if you like. But yesterday was a VERY poor showing by Newton.

no excuses just the truth.you rather him miss out of bounds and not in.notice none of those outs were behind the wr.

Exactly...

I've watched some of the videos of the "bad throws". Some of those receivers weren't even putting their hands up to catch the ball, or were "jogging" to the ball.

Oh Jeez

You really think guys were jogging for the ball at the combine?

Good lord, no. Actually they were busting their asses to get to the ball. That's their draft prospects on the line, as well. But I think you can forgive most of the timing issues with the QBs.

I thought Cam put his throws exactly where they should have been according to the drill. That probably makes me a Cam "fanboy" here, though I'm all in favor of NOT drafting Newton #1.

100% its due to timing and that's not a big deal on the deeper routes and corners and anyone making a big deal about it (Highland) and anyone defending it by bashing other guys at the combine (Blackcat) are just idiots pushing their own agenda.

The throws that are worrisome are the quick outs that he was sailing do to terrible footwork.

I am a cam lover but I can tell you that, on at least three of the out routes, unless the throw should have been in the 5th row he missed a little high :p

That was a very reasonable, middle of the road, and correct post.:eek::eek:
