It is crazy that they do that everywhere else, and have that huge blind spot at the most important position.
Them meeting with guys like that tells me that they know. Maybe their hands are tied.

I really don't think their hands are tied. It's not that. As fans we want to quickly move on from real or perceived poor QB play. Strategic timing is what matters and I think that's what Morgan is doing.

Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.
He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this.

It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.
The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.

Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like…

1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic)

2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez

3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey

4th: CB Daylen Everette

5th: S Jalen Huskey

6th: RB Adam Randall

7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose

I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
