Rods not the problem

I think that’s kind of what I was speaking to…  any other franchise, the way ours last few seasons have ended, I think they pull the plug and decide they need to reset things.  There’s  a sentimental tie to Rod, and I also think he’s cool with working on a cheaper contract because of the cache he has and the loyalty goes both ways.  It just seems we run out of gas as an organization at some point in the playoffs.  
 

as others have pointed out, it’s almost mind boggling that guys like Aho and Svech just transform into pedestrians and start playing completely out of character compared to what they do in the reg season.  And then for us as fans, it’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

It's not really a sentimental tie, it's that him and his staff want to be here and are really underpaid comparatively to other staffs. Like by a large amount of money and Dundon won't pay for staff as you can tell by the contract issues with him and Rod with Rod being so vastly underpaid.

Like if Rod leaves or gets fired, the new coaching staff would be a first time head coach making like 1m a year. With a bunch of young guys on the staff making as little as possible. Lol

Why I'm cheering so hard for the team to win, this is probably the best chance Carolina has with Dundon as the owner. 

 

Additionally this is probably Staal's last go for one.

This is why I keep my season tickets and enjoy the regular season. Don't opt for the playoffs, knowing that expense will likely be a disappointment. 

Being PSL owners for the Panthers for 17 years removed any emotional attachment I may have had for any sports team. 

Go to regular season games, have fun and go home.
