but we can't ignore Mallett's off the field issues, unfortunately... Which makes him way down the list.

I would love it if we found a way to get him later in the draft, but he has way too much risk off the field to be #1.

just fyi, all "off the field issues"(the drug problems, etc) that Mallett has are made up and the people making them up have given no legitimate sources as far as I'm aware. about the only thing that's true is he likes rap music.

I just think it's funny everyone sees Mallett as some drug addict dumbass when not a single piece of factual information has been released on it

if Mallett drops to the 3rd, and we take defense in the first round I'd be down to grab Mallett(completely depends who else is available though) as a backup plan in case next seasons QB class sucks as bad as this one does

I gained a lot of respect for Mallett watching one of his games this year. after a successful play or something, some o-linemen were celebrating or being to slow coming to the huddle. Mallett ran over to them and yelled at them and brought them back to the huddle.

The fact a team is gonna take Gabbert before Mallett is laughable. His accuracy is way off his spirals look horrible, he has a hard time moving around. He's gonna take a lot of coaching to be a franchise QB.

I think he is a lock for the first round personally. I also have a sneaking suspicion you will see him off the board by pick 12 and before Locker.
