That occurred to me too, but honestly what's to update? Maybe a change of format or something, I suppose.

The timing makes me think it's lockout related, but it might not be. No other teams are doing this that I've seen, and the NFL still has rosters up. So who knows?

Gantt pointed out that while you can't click directly for details on the roster, you can still get to the page where you can buy their jerseys.

On the other hand, why remove the link and keep the page intact? Its easier to remove a link but its still not that hard to disable the page. In my job, if we don't want people to get a page, we completely disable access to the page. Guess we will find out soon enough though. If its due to the lockout, it seems somewhat petty.

I don't know if it was petty. Probably more just a product of the fact that nobody has a clue what's gonna happen next.

To my knowledge, the San Diego Chicken has not been affected by the lockout.
